The Press Club started it all. This very Melbourne venue, with views
over some of the city’s most iconic buildings and spaces, opened late in
2006. The open kitchen brings an element of drama to the contemporary
dining room, and professional service staff complete the winning
combination.
Maha followed in March 2008. Shane Delia’s eye for detail and passion
for all things exotic resulted in a stunning laneway venue. A lavish bar
and dining room are supported by a menu that melds the best local
ingredients with ancient Middle Eastern recipes and will transport you
to another world.
A traditional taverna in Lygon Street, East Brunswick, Hellenic Republic
joined the family in October 2008. Hellenic Republic has forged a place
for itself at forefront of traditional Greek cuisine – Melbourne
style. You can nearly imagine yourself in Greece, if it weren’t for the
trams rolling past the front door. The best way to experience Hellenic
Republic is to sample the sharing, chef's selection trapezi menu.
In September 2010, The Press Club and Bar were refurbished, and from
here the Little Press & Cellar was born. Located adjacent to The
Press Club, Little Press & Cellar Little is a smaller version of the
restaurant with a more intimate approach to the wines by the glass
list. An enomatic wine system also offers guests the opportunity to try
rare and boutique wines by the glass.
PM24 opened in December 2010 and is shaking up the Melbourne restaurant
scene with its fresh, contemporary take on French cuisine. With Chef
Patron, Philippe Mouchel at the reigns, guests can expect substantial,
flavoursome dishes expertly matched with French and Australian wines,
served in a bustling environment by professionals who understand the
true meaning of hospitality.
Our latest addition to the Melbourne dining scene is St Katherine’s in
Kew - a bustling restaurant on ground level and an incredible private
dining room for up to 100 guests upstairs. St Katherine's, which opened
in mid May, is all about family, food and friendship, and with its
unique mix of Modern Greek, Middle Eastern and Turkish style food, is a
great addition to the area!
In early 2012, the Group's seventh venue, Mama Baba is set to open in South Yarra.
Diners at our venues will note that while the cuisine and style differs,
the hospitality is the same. Guests are welcomed into our venues with a
feeling of warmth and excitement, by knowledgeable staff and will be
treated to some of the best food in Melbourne.
We look forward to welcoming you and your friends and family on your next visit.
